International Marimba Festiva Meetings – Spain is born as an extension of an already established festival, with several previous editions held in Poland. Its arrival in Spain maintains a simple yet profound purpose: to bring together young musicians from different places and offer them a space to learn, grow, share experiences, and build friendships through music.
We welcome all marimba and percussion players, whether you are just starting out or you are already an experienced performer, the programme is designed to support and help you. develop your own sound, refine your technique, and grow as an artist.
This first edition will take place from 20 to 22nd March 2026 in the Conservatory of Music of Murcia. For three days, the marimba will be the center of all activity. Participants will enjoy individual lessons, ensemble rehearsals, chamber music and concerts, guided by renowned performers and teachers.
What categories does Marimba Meetings offer?
The festival’s offering will consist of 12 full-program students. It will include one lesson a daily 40-minute individual lesson with the different professors, for a total of three and chamber music will be another fundamental pillar of the event. of the week: each participant will be part of several groups, with daily rehearsals guided by the faculty.
